Built from Chaos. Rooted in Light. Growing Toward Peace.
Hi, I’m Kelly, the maker and heart behind Acadia Thorne.
This brand is personal.
It’s not about perfect homes or curated lives. It’s about survival, and softness, and what it means to create peace for yourself… especially when you grew up without it.
I was born into instability, placed into foster care, and eventually adopted.
On paper, it looked like a second chance. But behind closed doors, there was control, religious abuse, and the constant message that love had to be earned and could just as easily be taken away.
I spent years trying to contort myself into something lovable. Something acceptable.
And when I couldn’t, I carried shame I never should have been given.
Along the way, I also fought through chronic illnesses that still ride shotgun with me today.
Endometriosis. Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. Anxiety. All the invisible battles people don’t see when they look at you but that shape every choice you make.
Add in the beautiful chaos of parenting two amazing kids while running businesses from home, and you start to understand: I know what it’s like to crave a feeling of safety you’ve never actually known.
That’s what Acadia Thorne is about.
It’s about making it anyway.
It’s about creating softness in a world that taught you to harden up.
It’s about claiming beauty, light, and peace without permission …because nobody else gets to decide you’re worthy of it.
Every prism, every candle, every small ritual I offer here is a quiet rebellion against the idea that you have to hustle or suffer or "earn" your way to rest.
You don't.
You deserve to feel safe.
You deserve to feel loved.
You deserve a home-whatever that means for you- where you can breathe a little deeper.
And if you're still figuring out how to build that for yourself?
You're not behind.
You're not broken.
You're right on time.
This isn’t just a shop.
It’s a love letter to the parts of you that needed a softer place to land… and finally get one.
I'm so glad you're here.
You deserve every good thing.
