All three prisms in this collection are coated with an AB (Aurora Borealis) finish- a thin iridescent layer that refracts light into rainbow flashes even without direct sunlight. In full sun, a faceted prism works by bending light as it passes through each angled surface, splitting white light into its individual colors and scattering them across the room. The more facets, the more rainbows. In low or indirect light, the AB coating picks up the slack, catching whatever ambient light is available and reflecting it back in soft, shifting color. So even on a cloudy day or in a north-facing window, it still shines.
Each piece is one-of-a-kind because of how the materials come together. The champagne beads have a warm, slightly smoky tone.
